1. Who we are
The Mojo Queen Ltd is the parent company of Mojo Performance Systems Ltd, which will operate the Mojo Performance Systems brand. The legal contracting entity for each purchase or service will be identified at checkout, in the booking confirmation or in the relevant agreement.
Contact: [email protected].
2. Acceptance and scope
These terms apply to use of the Mojo Performance Systems website, information, enquiries, free resources, Scorecard, online coaching, workshops, courses, digital content and memberships, except where separate terms expressly apply. By using the website you agree to comply with the website-use provisions. A purchase or booking is governed by the terms shown to you before you commit to pay and any service-specific agreement. If there is a conflict, the more specific agreed terms take precedence for that service.
3. Who our services are for
Our materials support riding coaches, riders, athletes, parents and other participants as described in each offer. Some services involve children or young people. A parent or person with parental responsibility must give any required consent and, where appropriate, enter into contracts for a minor. Participation and communications with young people will be subject to safeguarding procedures and age-appropriate arrangements communicated separately.
4. Information and educational purpose
Website information, Scorecard outputs, guides, workshops and coaching resources are for education, reflection and performance development. They are not a medical diagnosis, mental-health treatment, emergency service or guarantee of sporting or commercial results. Coaching does not replace advice from qualified medical, psychological, safeguarding, veterinary or other relevant professionals. If you need urgent help, contact the appropriate emergency or specialist service.
5. Bookings and service delivery
Service descriptions will explain what is included, delivery format, dates or access arrangements, any prerequisites and any material limitations. A booking is accepted when we confirm it. Participants are responsible for providing accurate contact information and attending or accessing sessions as arranged. We may reasonably adjust a session or facilitator where necessary and will communicate any material changes and applicable options.
6. Prices, payments and invoices
We will show prices, currency, tax treatment, payment schedule, and any recurring charges before checkout or in the relevant written agreement. We will not introduce recurring charges without clearly explaining them and obtaining the required agreement. Third-party payment providers may process payments; we do not intend to store full payment-card details ourselves. We disclose any payment plan terms, missed-payment arrangements, and consequences of non-payment before purchase.
7. Consumer cancellation and refunds
Where UK consumer law provides cancellation, refund or other statutory rights, those rights apply and are not restricted by these terms. For many distance contracts for services, consumers may have a 14-day cancellation period, subject to applicable exceptions and the rules for services started at the consumer’s express request. For digital content supplied immediately, loss of a cancellation right may depend on specific prior consent and acknowledgement where the law requires it. We will display the precise cancellation process, start-of-service consent, digital-delivery consent and any offer-specific refund terms at checkout or booking. No general “no refunds” rule applies. Nothing in these terms removes rights for services not provided with reasonable care and skill or digital content that fails statutory standards.
8. Rescheduling and missed sessions
Notice periods, rescheduling arrangements, missed-session charges and any permitted exceptions will be set out in the relevant coaching or booking agreement before purchase. We will consider circumstances fairly and apply applicable consumer law. If we cancel a paid service and cannot provide an agreed suitable alternative, we will explain the available remedy, which may include a refund.
9. Online courses, digital resources and access
Access to online coaching, courses, recordings, downloads and member areas is personal to the purchaser or authorised participant unless the offer expressly allows wider use. The offer will describe access duration, delivery method, availability of recordings, updates, and any technical requirements. You are responsible for having a suitable device and internet access. We will provide digital content and services in accordance with the description and applicable law.
10. Memberships and subscriptions
Membership pages and checkout terms will specify what is included, the price, billing frequency, minimum commitment (if any), renewal arrangements, how to cancel and when cancellation takes effect. We will provide an accessible cancellation route and confirmation. Ending a membership does not automatically cancel sums lawfully due for an agreed minimum term, where such a term is valid and clearly disclosed. We will notify you of any material changes to paid membership terms, along with the rights and options required by law.
11. Coach Evolution, certification and licensing
Mojo Coach Evolution™ training, certification, accreditation, coach permissions and licensing, if offered, will have separate written programme requirements, assessment criteria, intellectual-property rules, fees, renewal terms and any limitations on using Mojo names or marks. Registering interest does not guarantee admission, certification or a licence, and it does not create an obligation to buy.
12. Scorecard, surveys and personalised outputs
Scorecard and survey responses are intended to support self-reflection and professional development. Results reflect the information supplied and are not a formal clinical or safeguarding assessment. We may provide personalised reports and related resources as described when you submit. Our Privacy Policy and consent notices explain how we process responses and contact details, including any optional marketing use.
13. Accounts and acceptable use
When you are provided with an account, keep your login details confidential and notify us of suspected unauthorised access. Do not misuse the site, attempt to bypass security, upload unlawful or harmful content, infringe others’ rights, or share another person’s private information without an appropriate basis. We may take proportionate action against misuse, subject to contractual and legal obligations.
14. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, our original content, course materials, names, branding, Scorecard design, frameworks and downloads belong to the relevant Mojo entity or its licensors. You may use purchased or freely provided resources for the personal or professional purpose expressly permitted with that resource. You may not reproduce, resell, distribute, train others in proprietary methods, or use Mojo branding as a certification or endorsement without written permission or a valid licence. Your statutory rights and any expressly granted permissions remain unaffected.
15. Testimonials, submissions and community conduct
We will seek appropriate permission before using identifiable testimonials, photographs, case studies or participant stories for publicity. Do not post confidential information about riders, clients or children in community areas. Members must treat others respectfully and follow any published community and safeguarding rules. We may moderate content reasonably to protect participants and the service.
16. Privacy, cookies and communications
Our Privacy Policy explains how we process personal information and how to exercise data protection rights. We handle non-essential cookies and similar technologies through the applicable cookie information and consent controls. We will send marketing emails in accordance with applicable consent and marketing rules, with an unsubscribe option where required. Operational communications about an existing booking or account may still be necessary after marketing opt-out.
17. Third-party services and external links
We may use third-party technology for website hosting, CRM, email, booking, video calls, payments or member access. External websites and services have their own terms and privacy practices. We are responsible for our own legal obligations and cannot exclude responsibility merely because a supplier is involved. Links to third-party sites do not imply endorsement.
18. Availability, changes and liability
We aim to keep our website and digital services reasonably available but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update content or improve services; we will manage material changes to paid services in accordance with your contract and consumer law. Nothing excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or statutory consumer rights. Subject to those protections, we are not responsible for losses that are not reasonably foreseeable or are caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.
19. Complaints and contacting us
If you have a question or complaint, contact [email protected] with the relevant booking or order information. We will seek to resolve issues fairly and promptly. We will supply any legally required dispute-resolution information, as applicable.
20. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Scotland, without depriving consumers resident elsewhere of mandatory protections that apply to them. Applicable law will determine the courts with jurisdiction; nothing here restricts mandatory consumer rights to bring proceedings in an appropriate court.
21. Updates to these terms
We may revise these terms to reflect changes to the website, services or law. The website will show the version and effective date. Changes to an existing paid contract will only take effect where permitted by that contract and applicable law, with appropriate notice and options where required.
